リモートワーカーの入国許可でトラブゾン（トルコ）からバトゥミ（ジョージア）の陸路入国ルートを検討している人に、今日やってみてわかったことを紹介します。
トラブゾンから国境までの時間と交通費
私はトラブゾン空港に早めに到着し、空港からホパ行きのバスに乗ることができるように夜を過しました。
そのバスは車内が適度に満員になったときに出発します。
トラブゾン空港＞＞（所要時間:3時間、料金:37トルコリラ）＞＞ホパ
ホパで昼食(20トルコリラ)をとり、両替をし、ホパから国境までタクシーで行きました。
ホパ＞＞（所要時間:15分、料金:70-80トルコリラ）＞＞トルコ-ジョージア国境
入国に際して国境で行ったこと
国境で必要なことをすべて済ますまでに30分くらいかかりました。
（事前情報では4時間くらいかかったという話も聞きました）
国境で行ったことは以下の通りです。
- パスポートとメールの提示
- 申請書原本のコピー
- PCR検査費用の251GELを支払う(パスポートコントロールから7歩の窓口で)
- スタンプが押される
- X線検査
- 鼻孔の上と喉の下に綿棒を当てられる
その後、バスとバンが満員になるのを待つことになり、さらに30分経過。
ホテルまでは無料のバスとバンで15-20分。
隔離先のホテル
ほとんどの人はメトロ・シティ・レジェンド・バトゥミ・ホテルで降ろされたが、もう一人の客と私はユーフォリア・ホテルに泊まることになった。どちらも1日3食付きで同じ59ゲル/日と説明を受けた(初日の夕食は微妙だった)。
最新の検疫ルールでは、8日間隔離の前後に合計3回のPCR検査が義務付けられています。

リモートワーカー許可証
私のパスポートにスタンプを押してくれた係官は、何度も何度も人に聞いているうちに、リモートワーカー許可証に詳しい（というよりは聞いたことがある）と言ってくれました。
許可証があれば、私のようにバトゥミ経由で入国できるとのこと。
しかし、彼女の発言はあまり自信があるようには聞こえませんでした。というよりも、「なぜこの方法で入国できないのか？許可証を持っているのに！」という感じでしたね。

🇹🇷 Border Crossing Batumi 🇬🇪 (on a business permit, extra info about remote workers) If you’re thinking about this route, here’s what I’ve done and learned today:
Arrive in Trabzon early (I arrived at 8) or spend the night so you can catch the coach from the airport to Hopa (3h, 37lira). It leaves when reasonably full.
I had lunch in Hopa (20 lira), exchanged money, and took a taxi from Hopa to the border (15min, 70-80 lira).
At the border
It took me about 30min to do everything I needed (but I heard people saying it took about 4h):
– show passport and email
– get a printed copy of the actual application
– pay 251gel for PCR test at the bank (7 steps from passport control)
– get stamped
– luggage x-rayed
– get the swabs up your nostrils and down your throat
Then it was a matter of waiting for the bus and van to fill up, which took another 30min.
The free bus/van takes 15-20 min to the hotel.
Hotel
Most people were dropped off at the Metro City Legend Batumi Hotel but another guest and I are staying at the Euphoria Hotel. I was informed that they both charge the same 59gel/day including 3 meals/day (not impressed by first dinner)
The new rule is on: PCR on arrival + 8-day quarantine + PCR on days 8 and 12.
Remote worker
After asking a lot of people on numerous occasions, the officer who stamped my passport told me that she is familiar with (more like heard of) the remote worker permit. She said that with the permit, they can enter via Batumi as I had just done. She didn’t sound very confident, though. It was more like, “Why wouldn’t they be able to come in this way? After all, they have a permit!?”
